A leading Gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo State and former National President Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Prof. Dayo Faduyile,OON has congratulated Muslims across Nigeria as they celebrate the Eid Mubarak of 2024.

Prof. Faduyile in his congratulatory statement to the Muslim faithful appreciated Allah, the most benevolent for granting them the persevering spirit to have gone through the rigorous 30 days of fasting during the Ramadan period.

In the statement which he endorsed personally, a copy of which thepolity.net obtained, the APC Guber Aspirant noted that the perseverance, charity and steadfast prayers and ablution imbibed at Ramadan should not terminate at the fasting alone, charging them to sustain all the virtues they imbibed during Ramadan fast.

Prof. Faduyile advised them particularly on charity, stressing that Prophet Muhammed ( PBUH) was categorical about charity and zakat as one of the major pillars of Islam.

While noting that those whom Allah has blessed should reach out with generous assistance to the less privileged members of the society, Faduyile harped on philanthropy, adding that Allah always replenishes the givers who do not give out of showmanship but out of the genuine instinct to better the lot of the less privileged.

Faduyile charged Muslim faithful, particularly the Imams, Ullamas and Clerics in Ondo State to pray more consistently for the state at this period when the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC will go to Primaries to elect Governorship candidate. He said only the best of the best is okay to lead the State to the promise land.

It will be recalled that Prof. Faduyile, OON, has sustained his tour and consultation of the different grassroots communities across Ondo State, intimating party members of his Gubernatorial aspiration and his lofty developmental agenda for the state.

The immediate past Special Adviser on Health to Ondo State Governor expressed confidence in his victory at the party primary slated for April 20th, assuring equal opportunity for political participation among the major religions in his government.

Rounding off the press statement, Prof. Faduyile acknowledged the need for love among the faithful , noting that if Nigerians will genuinely love themselves, vices like terrorism, banditory, kidnapping for ransom and rituals will become a thing of the past.
