For everything on there is an appointed season: a time to be born, a time to grow, and a time to depart.
Such was the graceful earthly journey of Late Princess Christianah Adeyinka Ajayi Betiku (née Manuwa), a woman whose life reflected virtue, strength, and unwavering devotion to God and family whose glorious life and time we are celebrating.
Her funeral rites commenced in Okitipupa, Ondo State, on April 23rd, 2026, with a compassionate medical outreach held within the community in the honor of her fond memory and in the same way she had shown commitment to caring for others in her life time.

On April 24th, her remains were solemnly taken from the morgue in a dignified ceremony anchored by Vines World Funeral International,

where she was laid in a golden casket. Later in evening, same day, a solemn Service of Songs was held at the Celestial Church of Christ, Premier Parish, Ondo State. Family, friends, and well-wishers from across the world gathered to celebrate her remarkable life as family, friends and guests from far and near paid tribute to her as a resilient woman, deeply devoted to her husband, children, and to all who crossed her path; always willing to give for the growth and happiness of others.
The officiating minister reminded the congregation of the fleeting nature of life and encouraged a Christ-centered life in preparation for eternity.



On April 25th, 2026, the funeral service took place at her residence, 15 Irewole Street as conducted by the Celestial Church of Christ, Premier Parish, Ondo State. She was later laid to rest at her home, 8 Ajosewa Street, Okitipupa, in a peaceful and honorable interment.

Speaking with deep emotion, her son, Olasimbo Betiku, described his mother as “one in a million,” expressing that if given another chance at life, he would choose her again as his mother.
A warm and sumptuous reception followed at Stella Maris College field, Okitipupa, where guests were warmly entertained by renowned juju musician Wale Thompson.

The atmosphere reflected both celebration and gratitude, with abundant food, drinks, and shared memories of a life well lived.
Born on February 20th, 1943, in Itebu Manuwa, Princess Christianah Betiku was the last daughter of the esteemed royal lineage of Oba Oladokun Manuwa and Reverend Oyinboegbayinnowomi Manuwa. Her mother, Mrs. Serah Eghanesse, also hailed from a distinguished heritage within the Mahin Kingdom. From her roots, she inherited dignity, discipline, and a legacy of excellence.

Her early education began at LA Primary School, Itebu Manuwa, and she later attended CAC Secondary School, Idepe, Okitipupa. Despite beginning formal education at a later stage, her determination led her to achieve her goals while also meeting her beloved husband, Pa Clement Moses Mobiyeneghan Betiku, who would become her lifelong partner. Their union was blessed with wonderful children.
A devoted wife and mother, she balanced her family life with a thriving career in trading and enterprise, engaging actively across towns and villages within Okitipupa Division. Her industrious spirit and commitment to her responsibilities made her a pillar within her community.
Late Princess Christianah Adeyinka Ajayi Betiku will forever be remembered as a virtuous woman defined by her humility, loyalty, generosity, and deep Christian faith. Her life remains a shining example of honor, service, and love.
Though she has departed to be with the Lord, her legacy continues to live on in the lives she touched and the values she upheld.
