US-Based Omosola Alade, siblings, honour late father with pomp and pageantry

 

The illustrious Alade family of Okitipupa in Ondo South have celebrated the life and time of their patriarch, Late Pa Williams Morakinyo Aladedunye in a classy and glamorous high society funeral that the town will talk about in a long while.

 

Mr.Omosola Alade, United State’s based Health Professional gathered a high octane guests from Nigeria and beyond to the final celebration of life of his darling father. The atmosphere of the event on Saturday sparkled with elegance and splendour.

 

 

The Reception and entertainment of guests drew an impressive array of dignitaries and personalities from across the globe. The beautifully adorned venue illuminated with dazzling lights and styled to perfection, exuded a regal ambience befitting the honour of a revered father.

 

The celebration commenced on a solemn yet uplifting note with an opening prayer, setting the tone for what would unfold as a perfect blend of reverence and festivity. Soon after, the atmosphere came alive as renowned highlife juju maestro, Omoba (Sir) Ademola Ogunsusi, took centre stage, serenading guests with soulful melodies that excited the guests.

 

In true socialite fashion, the Alade family made a grand entrance to the dance floor led by the immediate family of the late patriarch, followed gracefully by his children in a display of an ensuring family bond.

 

 

Guests were treated to an extraordinary culinary experience, with a rich spread of both continental and intercontinental delicacies, complemented by an abundance of premium drinks ensuring satisfaction and delight all through the event.

 

Every detail reflected class, sophistication, and a deep appreciation for culture and heritage.

 

Speaking with The Polity, Prince Omosola Alade paid a heartfelt tribute to his late father, describing him as a visionary and pillar whose sacrifices laid the foundation for the family’s growth and success. He fondly referred to him as the forerunner of the Alade dynasty a man whose legacy continues to inspire generations.

 

As expected of a high-profile gathering, the celebration did not end there; an exclusive after-party followed, where guests relaxed, mingled, and danced the night away in a lively atmosphere filled with joy, laughter, and fond memories.

 

Late Williams Morakinyo Aladedunye, born in 1940 in Ajagbale Quarters, Idepe-Okitipupa, lived a life marked by excellence and service. A man of intellect, he pursued his education at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, earning his NCE before advancing to the prestigious University of Ibadan where he obtained a degree in Geography.

 

He began his career as a dedicated secondary school teacher and rose through the ranks to become an Area Education Officer in the Ministry of Education, Okitipupa, a testament to his commitment to shaping young minds and contributing to societal development.

 

A devoted family man, he was married to his beloved wife, Mrs Clementinah Bolaji Aladedunye (née Adeyelu), and their union was blessed with five children who continue to uphold his legacy.

 

Following his passing on May 23, 1983, his impact was so profound that the Ikale Local Government declared a three-day public holiday in his honour an extraordinary tribute to a life well lived and widely respected.

Indeed, the grand celebration was more than an event it was a statement. A statement of legacy, honour, and timeless class. The Alade family didn’t just remember their patriarch; they celebrated him in a way that truly reflects the depth of his influence and the elegance of his lineage.
