Senate cancels Tuesday’s emerge plenary.

The Nigeria’s upper Legislative chamber which had earlier scheduled an emergency plenary for Tuesday 29th of January has subsequently cancelled the sitting.
In a press release signed by Mr. Nelson Ayewoh , Clerk of the House and made available to the press, it was not specified the reason for the cancellation of the plenary. The report however affirmed the earlier scheduled February 19th as the resumption date from resumption.

It will be recalled that The Senate President Mr Bukola Saraki had in reaction to the suspension of the Chief Justice of the Supreme , Justice Walter Onnoghen had fixed an emergency plenary for tomorrow for members to deliberate on the vexed issue of the suspension of the chief. justice of the federation.
