Uphold the lessons of Ramadan – Dayo Faduyile.

By Steve Ovirih.

Foremost All Progressives Congress, APC Leader and Ondo South Senatorial Aspirant,Prof.Dayo Faduyile,OON, has charged Muslim faithfuls to uphold all the lessons they have learnt during the 2026 Ramadan fasting period.

Prof.Faduyile gave this indication during an exclusive chat with thepolity.net at his country home,Ikoya, cradle of Ikale land during the Eid Celebration. He said he is happy to congratulate Ondo South Muslims in particular and Muslim faithfuls all over Nigeria, who had kept faith with all the lessons of the special period of praying and seeking Allah’s face in perfect denial of all human satisfaction and enjoyment, adding that the prayers and ablutions offered at this period should not seize now that the Ramadan fasting has ended.

Prof. Faduyile called on Muslim leaders across Nigeria to continue to  preach unity , maintaining that the religion of Islam is a peaceful religion which does not in anyway undermine the unity of any society. He said up North, there are a version of practitioners who are very passionate and extremely excited about the Islamic Practice, calling on leaders of the faith to continue to charge them to drop extremism in the practice of the Islamic faith even as he stressed that Islam is overwhelmingly a religion of peace and no single adherent no matter their passion can fight on behalf of Allah, who cuts across in the view of his worshippers as the most benevolent.

Prof. Faduyile prayed to God to continue to make Nigeria experience peace and progress which formed a major pillar of the supplication of the Muslim faithfuls at Ramadan. He craved the indulgence of the Muslims to continue to remember and keep all the lessons learnt during the Ramadan fasting.
