Wewood Limited offers special palliative to aged people in Omotoso, environs.

The aged people in Omotoso, Obatedo, Oke-Ifara and their environs have benefited from the palliative larges and patronage of the management of the Ondo -Linyi Industrial Hub located at Omotoso in Okitipupa, Ondo South .
Wewood Limited is an offshoot of the Ondo – Linyi Industrial Hub, an industrial conglomerate that has boosted the state’s internal revenue drive, expanded the Ondo State industrial profile and accelerated youth empowerment across board in its area of location.
The palliative was distributed within the premises of the just renovated St Anthony’s primary school in Omotoso, a renovation that was also effected courtesy of the patronage of Wewood Ltd.
The aged had gathered at the school field around 10 o clock in the morning as a truck of the food items to be distributed, which included bags of rice and cartons of noodles, were offloaded by Wewood staff.
Not less than five hundred aged inhabitants of communities which share neighborhood with the Linyi Industrial Hub, Omotoso were among the beneficiaries of the Special palliative.
The representative of the benefitting communities, Onidere of Omotoso High Chief Balogun Akinwe,who spoke at the well attended event described the contribution of the industrial Hub in Omotoso and its environ as unquantifiable and the impact of Wewood as one that goes beyond description, noting that the Chinese company has been a divine blessing not just in the area of manpower development but also as regards community social responsibility.
The aged who got the palliative beamed with smile and appreciation as they were all lined up in orderly manner while officials of Wewood handed over the food items to them.
The Public Relations Manager and Community Liason Officer of Wewood Ltd Prince Adewale Omolayo in an exclusive chat with thepolity.net said the choice of the aged as those to benefit from the palliative was hinged on the idea that good parenting makes orderly society, stressing that the peace the company has enjoyed in the community is a function of the good ways these aged ones had raised their children who are now the youths maintaining and sustaining this mutual peace, adding that the management of Linyi Industrial Hub Omotoso felt, these aged ones should be appreciated, hence the giving out of the palliative items to the aged.
Prince Omolayo stressed that Wewood Limited has been providing series of community social responsibilities to the neighborhood where the company is located even as he noted that the Linyi Industrial Hub renovated the block of classroom in the school where the palliative were distributed. He assured that beside the provision of scholarships to indigent students, provision of street light across the communities , harvesting the youths from the street into active and gainful employment, the company is poised towards improving the mutual cooperation between her and the communities around.
