With Tinubu, days of fraudulent deals over, says Ben Murray-Bruce

Tamarauemi Ebimini

Former Senator of Bayelsa East Ben Murray-Bruce has declared the days of businessmen flocking to Aso Rock Villa for fraudulent business deals are over.

In a tweet, Murray-Bruce said President Bola Tinubu is the first leader with a background in finance.

He said the days of ‘419 businessmen’ going to the Presidential Villa to obtain import duty exemptions and other benefits were over.

He encouraged businessmen to concentrate on ethical business practices.

He tweeted: “President Bola Tinubu, @officialABAT, is the first President of Nigeria with a Financial background. Let me tell our 419 businessmen some hard truths. Your days of going to the villa at night to get import duty exemptions, tax waivers, fraudulent judgement claims and bogus business deals are over.

“Focus on legitimate business deals. Tinubu will not pick a winner like past Presidents. This time you will have to earn your position in the Nigerian Economy.”
