– Dayo Awotula.
Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun has asked critics of his decision to allow Dangote trucks ply Ogun routes during the lockdown to go and become like Dangote to enjoy same privilege.
In a press briefing at Ikenne, his home town, Governor Abiodun said the Aliko Dangote group, Lafarge and other business structure deemed essential have been given waiver to work during the lockdown period, stressing that Chief Aliko Dangote is a principal stakeholder from the private sector who is leading the movement to provide a safety net of huge fund to assist the people to cushion the economic effect of covid 19.

The Governor expressed his disappointment at the reasoning of armchair critics of his decision on Dangote, describing them as indolent people seeking undeserving privileges.

He charged them to go and work hard and become successful like Dangote to enjoy same privilege, adding that Aliko Dangote is not just a Nigerian businessman but the richest African on the chart.
