By Steve Ovirih.
Prominent Ondo State APC Chieftain , Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, has congratulated the good people of Ondo State , blessing God for making all to witness the new year.
Prof. Faduyile in his congratulatory statement to the good people of Ondo State as the brand new year begins, stated that we all should always return gratitude to God for the grace to be alive and the grace which has ushered all into year 2025 in good health.
In a copy of his new year press release, a copy of which was obtained by thepolity. net , Faduyile, a Professor of Pathology and Forensic Medicine said a lot of people who were taken to the hospital last year did not survive not because of lack of money for treatment but
just because some did not have the grace to overcome their health challenges, suggesting therefore that everyone who is alive to see the new year deserves to express unreserved thanksgiving to God, the giver of life.
He maintained that of a truth year 2024 had not been without its challenges but God did not allow such challenges to consume us as individuals and as a state, The Sunshine State.
The former Special Adviser to Ondo State Government on Health charged the people to set new priorities for themselves , tasking them to pay attention to their health in the new year because it takes a healthy person to set and achieve priorities in life.
Prof. Faduyile advised Ondo State people to give all the necessary support to the state Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa who is set to commence his fresh mandate in office having garnered massive votes in the November Guber poll to emerge the elected Governor of Ondo State. He called on the people to remember the Governor in their prayers and pray for a successful administration of Gov. Aiyedatiwa.
As regards the new year celebration , the APC stalwart called for moderation , stressing that indulgence in revelry while not out of place , may require that people should try as much as possible not to be excessive , adding that beyond the excitement of the new year, January comes with responsibility for all responsible individuals.
