2026: Prince Kunle Ayeku wants Govt to shore up infrastructural development.

Igbodigo born United States of America based Prince Markson Kunle Ayeku has congratulated Nigerians both at home and in The Diaspora as the new year 2026 begins. Prince Ayeku who had an exclusive Media chat with this Reporter from his US base noted that he is very grateful to God who has kept him, family and friends in good health to commence another year.

The culture enthusiast and Community Development inclined Prince of Igbodigo in Okitipupa Local Government said as a Nigerian abroad, he has followed development in the home front and he is not very impressed about security concerns and infrastructural growth in the homestead, adding however that both Federal and State Government are trying their best. He reiterated the need for government to pay adequate attention to facilitating more growth in the area of infrastructural development as this hallmarks the indices of development by global standard.

Feeling bothered about unemployment among Nigerian youths who are churned out as graduates every year from Nigerian higher institutions, Prince Ayeku appealed to government to focus on massive youth empowerment in the area of entrepreneurship and agriculture. He said the more our youths are unemployed yet certificated and brainy, the more the threat to peace increases in the society, adding that increase in cyber crime otherwise known as ‘ Yahoo fraud ‘, kidnapping for ransome,cyberstalking and sundry vices in the society are due largely to youth unemployment. “Government should realize that the society sits on a keg of gun powder if these boys continue to remain unemployed,” Prince Ayeku noted.

He said there is need for the three tier of government in Nigeria to think out of the box so as to improve security in Nigeria, stressing that the only reason the Northern part of Nigeria did not erupt in bombing of Christians in churches this out gone Christmas period was the US intervention which confused the camp of both the Bokoharam and Iswap terrorists. He said beyond the US intervention , regional security should be reinforced to ensure that the fleeing terrorists do not escape to the sub regional levels in the country.

Prince Ayeku specifically thanked Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the good job done in the area of road construction across the state while also appreciating the Ondo State Chief Executive for his support for Ondo State monarchs. ” We heard of how he has provided utility vehicles to our monarchs and we are very impressed,” Ayeku enthused.

As regards his country home, Igbodigo, Prince Ayeku called for cooperation among the people and charged those who are of means to come to the aid of the less privileged particularly indigent youths who are willing to go to school. “The development of the community is very important and our people always say -Ule n’use- We all must be united in our resolve to ensure that a new monarch emerges in Igbodigo who will be a unifying force for communal growth and development. It requires prayers, it requires cohesion and it requires an iron cast resolve ; our community must develop like other neighbouring communities, ” he reiterated.

He stated that his expectation for Igbidigo community in 2026 is greater restoration and with prayer this is quite possible.
