Olabode Omoyele congratulates victorious APC Assembly members: Aiyebusiwa,Gbegudu, Akinyelure
Mr. Olabode Omoyele, Politician and Real Estate magnate, has extended his hearty congratulations to the winners of All Progressives Congress, APC House of Assembly shadow poll and candidates of Ikale extraction who emerged from the primary held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 across the state constituencies of Okitipupa Constituencies 1, 2 and Irele State Constituency.
In the series of party Primaries of APC which started on Saturday beginning with the Federal Constituency shadow polls, winners who will fly the flag of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the 2027 General election have been emerging with the Reps, Senate and State Assembly polls already conducted.
In the Assembly Primaries, Hon. Chris Ayebusiwa, Okitipupa Constituency 1, Hon Ololade Gbegudu, Okitipupa Constituency 2 and Barr. Dele Akinyelure , Irele Constituency have been announced as duly returned flag bearers for the 2027 General election.
In his congratulatory statement, which was obtained by newsmen, Mr. Olabode Omoyele described their victory as a plus for the ruling APC in Ondo State. He said Hon.Gbegudu who already holds a Principal Officer position in the Assembly as a Deputy Speaker has shown a commendable outing in the 10th Assembly and his victory at the primary already puts Ikale land in a vantage stake in the coming 11th Assembly, as he confidently projected a seamless victory for the Legislators in the forthcoming general election.
Waxing proverbial, Mr. Olabode noted that if the representatives of the people have done well, it must be stated categorically and that is what the constituents across Ikale land have indicated with their affirmative vote for their return to the State Assembly , stressing that their victory is a well deserved one.
Olabode further noted that the Lawmakers have shown their ‘Omoluabi’ ethos by being on the same page with Gov.Lucky Aiyedatiwa and in their Legislative drive towards fostering ‘the Our Ease Agenda’ of the Governor from the state’s Legislative wing.
The Igbotako born APC stalwart called on the good people of Ikale land to gear up and get ready to support these quality representatives with their overwhelming massive votes in the general election, noting without doubt that APC already has a strong showing in Ondo South as this is a warm pointer to the victory of the trio of Gbegudu,Ayebusiwa and Akinyelure at the General poll.
In his advice to the winners of the APC primary election, Olabode said their constituents will expect more from them while stressing that whom more is given much more is expected.
He charged them to be encouraged by the massive support of their people in their bid to use their Legislative inputs to attract further development to Ikaleland.
