Senator Faduyile hails Mimiko at 72

The Senator representing Ondo South, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, has felicitated former Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, on his 72nd birthday.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Senator Faduyile described Dr. Mimiko as a trailblazer in the medical profession and a visionary leader whose legacies in public health and good governance remain enduring.
He noted that as two professionals in the medical field, he holds in high esteem Mimiko’s contributions to healthcare reforms, particularly the Abiye Safe Motherhood Programme, which earned global recognition.
Faduyile said: “On behalf of my family and the good people of Ondo South Senatorial District, I rejoice with my dear brother and professional colleague, former Governor Olusegun Mimiko, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
“You are a distinguished medical practitioner, a political icon and a passionate advocate of the welfare of the people. Your years in service, both as a doctor and as Governor, left indelible footprints in our dear state.”
The lawmaker prayed for long life, good health and greater wisdom for the former governor, urging him to continue to avail the state and the nation his wealth of experience.
“At 72, you remain a reservoir of knowledge and a statesman whose counsel is invaluable. I wish you many more years of impactful service to humanity,” Faduyile added.
