Senator Faduyile Expresses Confidence in Tinubu’s Victory in January Poll
By Steve Ovirih.
Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, has expressed strong confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure a resounding victory in the January presidential poll.
Senator Faduyile spoke with newsmen on the sidelines of the flag-off of the Northwest presidential campaign in Kaduna, which held at the main bowl of the Ranchers Bees Stadium.
The Ondo South lawmaker, who was among top party stalwarts at the event, said the massive turnout at the Kaduna rally was a clear indication that Nigerians across the Northwest remain firmly behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate.
According to him, President Tinubu has demonstrated uncommon patriotism, courage and political willpower in taking difficult but necessary decisions aimed at repositioning the nation’s economy for sustainable growth.
Faduyile particularly lauded the President for stamping out the fuel subsidy regime, which he described as a conduit pipe used by an unscrupulous business class to fleece the nation of its commonwealth over the years.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown that he is a statesman who puts Nigeria first. Unlike others who paid lip service to the subsidy fraud, he had the political willpower to confront the cartel and free up resources for development,” he said.
He noted that the savings from subsidy removal are already being channelled into critical infrastructure, student loans, improved minimum wage and intervention in the agricultural sector, adding that Nigerians will soon reap the full benefits of the bold reforms.
The Senator further described President Tinubu as a visionary leader whose track record in Lagos and now at the national level stands him out as the best man to lead Nigeria through its current economic rebirth.
He said President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a campaign slogan but a practical blueprint that is already restoring confidence in the economy, strengthening the naira and attracting foreign investments.
Faduyile urged Nigerians, especially the people of Ondo South, to remain steadfast and vote massively for President Tinubu in January, assuring that the second term would consolidate on the gains of the reforms and usher in unprecedented prosperity.
He also commended the leadership of the APC for organizing what he termed “one of the most electrifying campaign flag-offs” in the Northwest, stressing that the unity and enthusiasm within the party are pointers to victory.
“The energy in Kaduna today is the energy of victory. From Sokoto to Katsina, from Kano to Kebbi, Zamfara and Jigawa, the message is the same: Northwest stands with Asiwaju,” Faduyile declared.
