Princess Oladunni Odu holds session with Idepe youths.
Youths of Idepe Okitipupa have been reassured of the commitment of the Ondo State Government to youths concern, welfare and employment. Giving this reassurance was Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu, Chairperson Ondo State Universal Education Board (SUBEB) while conferring with the youths at Aja quarters, Idepe. Princess Odu was accompanied to the meeting , which held earlier Sunday afternoon, by APC stakeholders in Okitipupa as well as Barr Mrs. Nike Ademujimi and
Aare Olukunle Ajana.
The youths in their hundreds welcomed and appreciated Princess Oladunni Odu whom they described as a worthy representative and an iconic APC gladiator, whose impact in Ondo SUBEB has reviberated across Ondo State.
Princess Odu said the meeting with the youths of her Primary constituency is significant because the most genuine feelers about the government are better professed by the youths and whatever they say about any government policy is a frank opinion.
She noted that under her watch, a recruitment exercise is ongoing and this is a step taken by the government of Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to shore up the staff strength of the personnel in the public Primary schools in Ondo State. Princess Odu said Gov. Akeredolu has very positive plans for the youths of Ondo State and these plans can’t be cut short midcourse. “This is the reason I have come to advertise to you the candidacy of Gov. Akeredolu and his running mate, who is also one of us from Ondo South, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
” We need the continuation of the massive projects of Gov. Akeredolu has embarked on in his first term and beyond rhetorics, it takes a Governor who believes in the Deep sea Port project at Ilaje to even lay hand on it.
” My dear youths, it goes to motive that we don’t change a winning team half time in a long hurled game. Therefore, I beseech you, come October 10th, 2020, to vote for Governor Akeredolu so that he can bring to a logical conclusion majority of the capital intensive projects he has embarked on in Ondo State, ” stressed Princess Odu.
While speaking with the youths, Barr. Ademujim, an ex Commissioner in the Government of Dr. Segun Mimiko, thanked the youths for coming. She said she saw the reality between promises and execution of promises , noting that Gov. Akeredolu’s government stands out in thinking through people oriented projects
and putting his political will into the execution of these projects. Ademujimi said since 1999 that Democracy has returned to Nigeria, and we have been having civilian Governors in Ondo State, it is only Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who deemed it fit to resolve the perennial traffic grid at the Ore/ Benin axis and he gifted that long route a fly over that ended the Carnage on that once upon a scary route permanently. She said she is a politician who saw the light and for this reason she is with Gov. Akeredolu over his second term ambition. Toeing the path of Princess Odu, Ademujimi appealed to the youths not to throw away a golden opportunity for a better and brighter Ondo State which the second term of Gov. Akeredolu symbolises.
The Aare Ogboni of the Coaster state, Aare Olukunle Ajana noted in his remark that the youths of Idepe whom he knows very well will not disappoint Barr. Princess Oladunni Odu. He however appealed to the government of the day to consider massive recruitment in his second term as there is a plethora of abled bodied graduates who are willing to work but are not gainfully employed.
Princess Odu distributed adequate patronage to the youths, who appreciated her for coming to touch base with them ahead of the poll.
