Jimi Odimayo visits Regent of Ayeka, expresses desire to contest for House of Rep.

The Irele born Prince Jimi Odimayo on Sunday paid a special visit to the palace of the Lumure of Ayeka, in Okitipupa Local Government Council, where he conferred with the Regent of Ayeka kingdom, Princess Barr. Oluyemi Bajowa.
Omoba Odimayo was warmly welcomed by the Regent who noted that her father , the Lumure of Ayeka, Late Oba Bode Ayelomi and his guest’s father were intimate friends in their life time.
Prince Odimayo saluted the Regent for the commendable Initiatives and development projects she has attracted to her domain , adding that she has evidently proved to the world that what a man can do a woman can do better.
The Iwajowa Group, a strong political structure of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo South Senatorial District with Political ties across Ondo State also had a special session with Odimayo at the palace .
However, the meeting between Omoba Odimayo and members of Iwajowa Group was a closed door session.
While addressing newsmen after the parley, Prince Odimayo said he was delighted to visit the Regent of Ayeka , a prominent royalty and role model and a grassroots developer. He noted that he had a fruitful deliberation with the Regent , adding that Ayeka is very important to him based on the connecting ties that existed between Irele kingdom and Ayeka kingdom.
On his parley with Iwajowa Group, Odimayo said the group peddles strong political relevance and it is populated by men and women of influence , who are stakeholders in Ondo State Politics.
The international business man turned Politician hinted on his next political ambition when he said he will be vying as Member House of Representatives (MHR) from Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency, noting that he has no doubt that All Progressives Congress ( APC) already has a firm grip with a cohesive house , hence the position of the Member House of Representatives in Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency is for the APC to take back.
He added that having gotten the courage of his conviction to throw his hat in the ring, he has begun consultation with all the necessary stakeholders and groups , more reason he has come to confer with Iwajowa Group.
