I will win Osun APC Primary again, Gboyega Oyetola.

– Steve Ovirih.

Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has reiterated his confidence in winning the Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) Primary election coming up next weekend. The Governor expressed this confidence in Abuja while fielding questions from newsmen at the APC National Secretariat.

Governor Oyetola noted that his three and half years political engagement and participations in Osun State will make his victory at the party’s primary a jolly smooth ride , stressing that he is the best candidate from the party with experience to lead the party to victory in the forthcoming guber poll.

While describing his achievement , Gov. Oyetola said his government has consolidated on the legacy of his predecessor and the workers in the employ of the state government have been receiving their salary as and when due.

He added that Osun State has experienced peace and sustainable economic development under his administration.

It will be recalled that a strong opposition is brewing within the APC Osun State against the return of Gov. Oyetola for second term which is being championed by a caucus within Osun APC, The Osun Progressives (TOP). Former Governor of Osun State and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola is alleged to be a strong backer and patron of this caucus opposed to Oyetola’s return.
