Wewood LTD Commissions New Administrative Complex with fanfare.

Another landmark achievement has been recorded at the fast rising Ondo – Lynyi Industrial hub as the pacesetter industry in the hub at Omotosho, Wewood Limited , has added a new feather to its glowing cap by commissioning its new state of the art , ultra modern administrative building.
Wewood Limited, it will be recalled was incorporated and started production activities in 2015, opening the Omotosho axis of Ondo South Senatorial District to a massive chain of manufacturing activities , which is now putting the agragrian çommunity on the global map as one of the go – to communities as far as industrialisation is concerned in Nigeria.
Of course , the laudable achievement of Wewood Limited and the opening up of the Ondo – Lynyi Industrial hub in the past seven years of its commendable existence is a testament to the commitment of the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s administration in Ondo State to the industrial growth of the state, which objective Wewood Ltd has consistently keyed into.
Thus, on Wednesday, the 6th July, 2022, it was a celebration time for the ever busy management and staff of Wewood Limited as they all came out in their numbers from their different production units , as the opening of the new office complex was marked amidst fireworks and merry making.
The jubilation was palpable as staff were seen wearing elated countenance while complimentary salutations were offered to the management which deemed it fit to build the global standard structure.
A major highlight of the commissioning exercise was the tour of the Admin building as the Assistance Chairman , Wewood Ltd, Mr. Kelvin Chu showed the staff the different executive offices within the complex which include the Reception Lounge, The Manager’s Office, The Account section, The General Operation Unit, The Massive Conference Room among others.
The Assistant Chairman of Wewood Ltd, Mr Kelvin Chu in his chat with thepolity.net noted that the company has enjoyed the support of Gov. Akeredolu, SAN , the Ondo State Governor, whom he described as a core industrialist as a Governor. Chu said the success story of the Lynyi Industrial hub wouldn’t have been possible without the determination of Gov. Akeredolu to encourage Direct Foreign Investment ( DFI) to Ondo state. Mr Chu added that the impact of Wewood Limited can be felt in the turn around that has happened to Omotosho, noting that the positive environmental impact has made possible direct or indirect workers engagement of over 30,000 people.
In an exclusive media conference hosted by thepolity tv online on the fringe of the official Commissioning, of the newly built Weewood Admin block, Mr. Thomas , Head of Admini and Procurement said the Office Complex took the company two years to build and it was built to taste with all the necessary facilities in place to ensure ease and comfort of staff in an enabling industrial environment. He said the giant stride of Wewood Limited is quite commendable , noting that as the mother company to other companies that will be accommodated in the industrial hub, it is fit and proper to set the pace by ensuring Wewood boasts of a Modern Administrative building, which will function as the engine room of the manufacturing outfit.
Thomas expressed delight in the completion of the Admin block , which he said was built to specification and in par with international standard.
In his own remark, Public Relations and Admin manager , Wewood Limited , Prince Adewale Omolayo agreed that WeWood has made obvious improvement since inception in 2015, adding that the host communities have Lynyi Industry , China to thank for expanding their community by establishing the prototype of Lynyi Industry in far away China at Omotosho in Okitipupa Local Government , stressing that the synergy between the mother company in China and WeWood here in Ondo State will allow for the deepening of the industrial growth of the Lynyi offshoot in Nigeria.
” Like my colleague , Mr . Thomas noted , yes this building was completed in just two years and as you can see in the course of the brief tour of the facility it was built to taste, ” Prince Omolayo stressed.
Continuing, the Company’s PRO maintained that beyond matters of Administrative growth of the company, Wewood Limited has added positively to the welfare of the host communities , providing adequate Corporate Social Responsibility ( CRS) projects for the host communities of Omotosho, Obatedo, Ode Aye and others .
” Not quite couple of weeks ago, WeWood Ltd light up the Omotosho Community with Solar light, illuminating Omotosho at night; this project was commended not just by the Royal fathers across these communities, but also got the commendation of Ondo State Government, which was represented by the Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Hon. Igbekele Akinrinwa at the commissioning of the Wewood Solar project at Omotosho, ” Prince Omolayo added.
He said beyond the Solar projects, Wewood Limited had sunk boreholes across these host communities and over thirty thousand indigenes of Ondo State are currently working with Wewood Limited, while noting that more are still going to be employed.
Omolayo said Wewood enjoy warm relationship with the host communities and the communities are also appreciative of the fact that Wewood Limited’s presence is a huge plus not just for their communities but the entire Ondo South Senatorial District as well as Ondo State.
Prince Omolayo thanked the Chairman of Wewood Limited, using the Assistant Chairman , Mr Kelvin Chew as a point of contact, noting that the management of Wewood Limited has continued to provide an enabling environment for a collective corporate achievement that all the staff can be proud of .
Mr Kunle Faseyi , the Human Resources Manager in his review of Staff Impact Assessment ( SIA) , while speaking with Thepolity . net noted that Wewood Limited has an enabling working environment and array of incentives to induce functional and optimal performance level by the Wewood working force, a very huge population per industrial standard.
He said the company has different programmes , training and refresher courses which the staff are made to attend in the bid of the company to bring out the best in the staff strength . While congratulating both the management and staff for the opening of the new Admin office complex , Faseyi said the staff are happy and are encouraged to up the ante of productivity in the company.
