Abodi describes Akeredolu’s death a great loss.

The Abodi of Ikaleland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba G.B Faduyile has commiserated with the Akeredolu family of Owo Kingdom over the death of the immediate past Governor of Ondo State , Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN whose death was pronounced officially on Wednesday.

Abodi while commenting on the development noted that death has plucked an illustrious personality of most profound sagacity and his death at this time when his sense of governance was needed is most unfortunate and sad.

The prominent royal father admitted that death is inevitable, stressing however that while circumstances of death diminishes humanity, the particular exit of Gov. Akeredolu has really affected the collective spych of the people of Ondo State , and it has left a bad taste in the mouth.

He said the collective prayers of Nigerians had been that God should heal Akeredolu and bring him back to his seat , adding however that God has chosen to rather call him unto himself to the higher realm where there is eternal peace and tranquility.

The Abodi of Ikaleland noted that now that the unexpected has happened and God has called Akeredolu home, prayers should be offered for his family and the entire Owo Kindom that God should grant them the fortitude to bear the loss as the pains of such loss of a father who meant so much hardly goes away in the mind.

” To the wife and the children of Gov. Akeredolu, we understand it is a great loss and irreparable damage that sears the soul with pangs over fond memories, but we all at this time have to submit to the will of God who gives and takes and whose will supercedes ours.

” May God console all the members of the immediate and extended family of Gov. Akeredolu over his painful loss,” Abodi of Ikaleland ,Oba Faduyile added.
