Abuja Municipal Area names street after Afe Babalola

In recognition of his giant contribution to the legal profession and his input towards ensuring standard tertiary institution in Nigeria, legal luminary, Chief Afe Babalola (SAN) has been appreciated specially by the Abuja Municipal Area Council.

The council has named a street in Apo District after the legal luminary.

While praising the gesture of the Abuja Area Council, an NBA national Exco member from Ekitit State, Barr. Samuel Falade said the Area Council has shown recognition to one of the greatest brains in the legal profession in Africa, noting that aside been a member of the inner bar, the fine legal gift to Nigeria from Ekiti State is a counsel of reckoning whose opinion and advice on national issues count at all times.

With this commendable development, Aare Afe Babalola (SAN) has joined the league of national legends such as Alhaji Maitama Sule, whose names identify major streets of Abuja.
