Ace Broadcaster , Bunmi Afuye dies in Ondo robbery.

– Steve Ovirih.

Tragedy struck in Ilaramokin, Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State on Thursday, the 15th July as some daredevil armed robbers invaded a first generation bank in the ancient town.

The armed robbers who had a field day at the said bank gained entrance by shooting sporadically into the air making the workers of the bank and customers scamper in different direction.

A popular On Air Personality and broadcast journalist with a reputable radio station in Akure, the Ondo State capital, Olubunmi Afuye was gruesomely murdered by the armed robbers in the course of their raid on the bank.

As at the time of filing in this report, efforts to get police reaction on the sad development was still going on.

Until this fateful development, bank robbery has not been recent in Ondo State.

However, the spate of crime and high wired criminal activities threatening the nation state have been on the increase in recent time across the country.
