AIYEDATIWA SUPPORT GROUP, OKITIPUPA LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

PRESS RELEASE

At one of its weekly elders’meetings held today, Sunday, the 18th of February,2024
that the group resolved to make public the following declarations:

(1) That the group abhors in totality the falsehood contained in the letter written to The President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu against the current Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa by six House of Representatives members from Ondo State.

(2)That these six Reps members, particularly Member Representing Okitipupa \Irele Federal Constituency , were only representing themselves and not the good people of their constituencies.
(3) That their inordinate ambition to contest in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state is what is behind their desperation.

(4)That it is obvious that they are already threatened by the giant strides of the present Governor and the general acceptability enjoyed by Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s administration in the state.

(5)That the group wishes to appeal to our amiable president, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu to disregard the falsehood contained in the said letter.
(6) We make bold to say Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is doing well in Ondo State as a sitting governor; the six legislators should face their legislative work, and bring the dividends of democracy to their respective constituencies rather than trying to cause disaffection in the state.
