Akeredolu appears before APC screening committee

Ondo state Governor, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu was spotted today at the National Secretariat of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, where he appeared at the party’s board room for screening as a gubernatorial candidate in the forthcoming APC primary in Ondo state.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is gunning for his second term as the Executive Governor of Ondo state ; he is among the 11 aspirants of the party who obtained both Expression of interest and governorship form at the rate of twenty five million, five hundred thousand naira.
In his bid to clinch the flagship of the All Progressives Congress for the second term, Governor Akeredolu is banking on his infrastructural projects around Ondo state and his drive for manpower development; he has just lifted ban on massive recruitment both in the education and health sector of Ondo state.
It will be recalled that the Ondo state Governor tested positive for Coronavirus early last week and has subsequently tested negative within days of contracting the virus.
