Anambra people are dying of poor health care, APC Chieftain cries out

A loud attention has been drawn to lack of quality health care among rural dwellers in Anambra state.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, Chief John Onunkwo called public attention to the danger of the near absence of quality health care delivery and services in the state, noting that the challenge is an eyesore.

Chief Onunkwo said the situation has aggravated lately, leading to high mortality among the majority of Anambrarians who can not afford the exorbitant charges of hospital bills in the areas where such luxury exist in the state.

Chief John Onunkwo has just organized a free medical outreach to reach out and offer medical services for the people of Uga in Aguata Local Government council. He said he was touched by the rate at which people are dying over illnesses that are treatable , hence the medical outreach by his foundation.
