In a solemn get together by Nigerians in the Diaspora to mark the year 2020 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, at 9, NorthumberLand Avenue , Nigeria High Commission, London United Kingdom, an outstanding and immeasurable display of patriotism and love for fatherLand , Nigeria, was showed by the indefatigable , amiable and irresilient Chairman of The Legacy Forum, Gen. Prince Olu Bajowa (RTD). The retired Army top brass who is also the Jagunmolu of Ikale Land and also of The Source and his wife, Her Royal Majesty, Barr. Oluyemi Bajowa, the quintessential and distinguish Regent of Ode Ayeka in Ondo southern senatorial district, were joined by other prominent Nigerians at the Nigerian High Commission House to grace the colorful event which has a strong significance in the annals of Nigerian military history.

The Nigerian government has set aside January 15th annually to celebrate the heroic gestures of Nigerian fallen heroes across the different strata of the Nigerian military who had paid the supreme price in the course of duty while defending the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Nigerian state.

Speakers after speaker at the event appealed to the patriotic sentiment of Nigeria and they charged Nigerians to hold firm the Nigerian spirit of unalloyed patriotism that ensured the cohesion of this country long after the civil war of the late sixties that would have fragmented Nigeria across ethnic and religious divides.

Among the dignitaries at the event were: Gen Olu Bajowa (RTD) and his wife, the Regent of Ayeka , Princess Oluyemi Bajowa, Nigerian High commissioner to the United kingdom, Ambassador George Adesola Oguntade, CFR,CON; Brig .Gen. Sadiq Ndalolo, Defence Attache,
