Auto rally to hold in Akure, as Ondo State Govt expresses support.

Press Statement.
The Ondo State Government wishes to inform members of the public that there will be an Auto Rally in Akure, the state capital on Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 12noon to 4pm.

The auto rally, which  will be hosted by the State Government in conjunction with Wuraola Golf Championship, will hold on the Alfred Rewane Road to Adekunle Ajasin through Obafemi Awolowo Road in Akure.

The pre-event will hold on Friday, November 10, 2017, at the Elizade University Campus, Ilara Mokin, where the welcome ceremony and car screening even will hold.

The main event will start at 7am to 11am on Saturday November 11, while the off-road category of the competition takes place at the Smoking Ills Golf Course, Ilara Mokin.

The closing ceremony comes up at 4pm at the Gani Fawehinmi  Arcade, Parliament Road, Akure.

The state government advises motorists to stay off the Alfred Rewane and  Adekunle Ajasin roads through Obafemi Awolowo road on November 11, 2017, between the period of the rally to enable the event take place without hindrance.

Top players in the automobile industry and world class goffers are due to participate at the rally.

Corporate entities and rally enthusiasts are also billed to witness this epoch making event.

The state government also asks members of the public to showcase the state’s abundant human and materials resources to the world.

This event will foster a strong mutually beneficial synergy between the Ondo State Government, its people and visitors from around the world.
