Cause of Adeleke’s death is yet unknown- family members.

The family of Late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke has made it known to the general public that the cause of the death of the Senator is yet to be made public, therefore condemning the unsolicited violence that greeted the announcement of his death.

The family said it appreciated the show of love by his kith and kin, but stressed that it is in charitable to point accusing fingers at anybody over his death, adding that the deceased in his life time was a man with zero tolerance for aggression and violence.
The younger brother of Senator Adeleke, Dr. Deji Adeleke made this clarification on the heels of the insinuations making the rounds that Senator Adeleke’s death must have been politically motivated. He maintained that it was to ascertain medically the cause of his demise that the corpse was not interred immediately. He however said, autopsy on a corpse takes a week or two, asking the public to discountenance the “poison rumor”. Dr Adeleke advised the youths of the town not to take the law into their own hand as the only thing they owe the deceased is sober reflection over his untimely death.
Senator Adeleke, the first Executive Governor of Osun state and a two time Senator of the Federal Republic died last week Saturday after a very brief illness. .
