The grand patroness of Fashion Designers’ Association in Okitipupa local government area celebrated the milestone 70th birthday anniversary with a thanksgiving service at the Methodist church in her country home, Ode Erinje on Saturday, the 2nd June, 2017.

The church service attracted family members, colleagues and dignitaries from far and near. The preacher, congratulated the celebrant for the grace of God which she has enjoyed so far, noting that it is God’s injunction for mankind to be conscious of their age.

The birthday reception which held at the Royal Bay event place at Okitipupa was serenaded by the highlife maestro “Yemi Yobo” and his musical band.

At the reception, retired Commissioner of Police Adetuyi described Mama Fafoluyi as a rare bred and a dedicated house wife whose support for family was immeasurable. Okitipupa chairperson of the National Council of women society, Hon. Mrs . Akinnusi while giving her remark at the event noted that Chief Mrs. Fafoluyi has been a pillar of support for the Council over the years. She said her counsel had helped her greatly since she has assumed office as the Chairperson of NCWS, okitipupa chapter. In his own testimony on the celebrant, Proprietor Success Group of school, Hon. Lawson Adelokiki said he thanked God for Mama Fafoluyi’ s life, adding that the celebrant took a great care of her while he was a school boy. He maintained that she was a loving and caring mother to all her relatives.

Highlight of the event was the cutting of the birthday cake by the celebrant and the special birthday dance for Mrs. Fafoluyi.

Among the dignitaries at the event were His Grace , Most Revd. Oderinde, Lord Bishop of Igbobini Methodist arch diocese; CP Adetuyi (Rtd), Elder Akinmoju and a host of others.
