Dayo Faduyile commends ODIEC over the conduct of LG poll

A foremost All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Ondo South, Prof. Adedayo Francis Faduyile has described as peaceful and successful the conduct of the August 22nd Local Government poll , applauding Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) for the success of the exercise.
Prof. Faduyile voted at Unit 5, Ikoya /Igbinsin ward in Okitipupa Local Government Area, Ondo Southern senatorial district.
Speaking with the polity.net having cast his vote, Dayo Faduyile said the exercise started to time as the electoral officers arrived promptly and kick started the election process. Asked about the chances of his party’s Chairmanship and Councillorship candidate in the poll, Faduyile said their chances are bright, adding that APC campaigned vigorously for their candidates and the State Governor’s giant input in Ondo South is adequate campaign for Okitipupa Local Government Council Chairmanship Candidate and all the Councillorship hopefuls. He said with the LG polls which have been held across all the council areas and the electoral wards, active participatory Democracy will begin full swings at the grassroots in Ondo State.
