Ekiti Governor salutes Ganduje’s emergence as APC National Chairman.

– Steve Ovirih .

Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Abdullahi Ganduje over his emergence as the substantive National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

It will be recalled that Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress resigned from the office a fortnight ago , creating a vacuum in the National Leadership of the ruling APC.

At the National Executive Council, NEC Meeting of the APC in Abuja, the party’s NEC members resolved with their votes to pave the way for Dr. Ganduje to assume the National Chairmanship of the party, while Senator Ajibola Basiru from Osun State was approved as the National Secretary of the party, replacing Senator Iyiola Omisore, who was alleged to have resigned , though no reason had been offered either by the party or the former scribe to justify his resignation from his exalted seat within the ruling party structure.

Governor Oyebanji noted that the former Kano State Governor has all it takes to navigate the party to more resounding successes having governed the Cosmopolitan Kano , attracting an appreciable level of achievement to the state.

Abdullahi Ganduje is noted for his unflinching support for the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidency and his huge contribution to the success of the effort of the former Lagos Governor to become Nigerian President.
