Hon Akinjo donates Bus for Ilaje Diocese at Synod.

Hon. Victor Akinjo, member representing Ilaje/Ese Odo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives has donated a brand new Sienna Bus to his home Diocese, Diocese of Ilaje in the course of the third session of the third synod of the Diocese, which held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Itebu- kunmi, the country home of the Honourable Member of the House of Representatives.

The closing session of the Synod and thanksgiving which held on Sunday , the 13th September had in attendance the celebrant and Bishop of Ilaje Diocese, Rt. Revd. Olugbemi and The entire House of the Clergy of the Diocese. Parishioners across the Diocese and wellwishers from far and near also graced the Synod.
Hon. Akinjo, a Peoples Democratic party (PDP) stakeholder in Ilaje , while making the donation of the vehicle said he was grateful to God Almighty , his people and the church of God for their prayers , moral support and counsel when such matters.
Akinjo charged Christian faithfuls from Ilaje to fervently pray for Ondo State so that there will be peace before , during and after the Governorship election in Ondo State, adding that parents should advise their wards against being used to foment trouble and violence in the weeks ahead.

The Lord Bishop of Ilaje Diocese, Rt.Revd. Olugbemi thanked Hon. Akinjo for his timely contribution and assured him that the Church will continue to remember him in their supplication.
