SUBEB reaches out to Primary School teachers in Ondo State over Gov. Akeredolu’s second term bid.

Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board’s Chairperson , Princess Oladunni Odu has led members of the board to meet with teachers and Head Teachers of Public Primary Schools in Ese – Odo and Irele, both in Ondo South Senatorial district, to confer with them over the great plans of Governor Akeredolu as Ondo State prepares for another round of Governorship election.

The parley with the teachers which held both at Igbekebo in Ese – Odo and Mega Primary School Irele had in attendance teachers in their huge numbers who turned out massively to show appreciation to the management of the Board for the teacher friendly gestures and policies of the Princess Odu led Board.

Speaking with the teachers at Igbekebo, a member of the Board, Hon Tayo Fayanju said the period of politicking has started again in Ondo State and it’s important for SUBEB to carry along members of its Primary constituency who are the teachers of Public Primary Schools in Ondo State. Hon Fayanju said he has come to sell the candidacy of the “talk and do ” Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu, the Governor- General of Amotekun for the teachers of the riverine Ese – Odo , stressing that the time has come for teachers to reciprocate the good gesture of the State Governor who in his magnanimity has elevated primary school teachers to Grade Level 16.

The Board Chairperson, Princess Odu congratulated in advance Head Teachers who for the first time in the history of Ondo State will be promoted to Level 16. ” Governor Akeredolu did it because the primary school teachers who are the foundation builders of tomorrow’s leaders deserve the best at all times,” Princess Odu added.

At Irele Mega School venue of the teachers’ rally, there was a rousing welcome for the SUBEB management team as teachers raised local folk songs to herald the top notch executives of the board .

Princess Odu while soliciting the support of the teachers at Irele for Governor Akeredolu’s reelection said virtually all the facilities of public Primary Schools abandoned by the previous government which Gov. Akeredolu succeeded have been touched and renovated by Gov. Akeredolu within the space of three and half years. She said rather than concentrate on just one big beautiful school in an entire community while other schools become dilapidated, Gov. Akeredolu charged SUBEB to ensure that all public primary schools across Ondo State wear new looks in order to stimulate teaching and learning among pupils who have very impressionable minds and today they are the better for it.

“For this good job to continue, we owe the incumbent Governor a duty to vote massively for his second term bid,” Princess Odu added .
