Honest Police man returns huge accident scene money, gets reward.

A personnel of Nigerian Police, Sergeant Isah Kabir has remitted a sum of one million two hundred thousand naira found at the scene of a fatal accident which happened along Zaria road, Kano in Kano state.

Kabir who is attached Kano metropolis Motor Traffic Division discovered the money in the course of conducting scene analysis after the accident had happened in which the victim of the accident was knocked off his motorcycle by an over speeding trailer.

Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abdullahi Haruna noted that the victim died on the spot . He said Sergeant Kabir who arrived the scene of the accident for scene analysis minutes after the crash found the money belonging to the motorcyclist arranged in a short box.

Director of Kano Road Traffic Agency , Mr. Baffar Agundi has saluted the honest disposition of the Police man, Sergeant Isah Kabir who found the huge cash and returned it without tampering with it, describing him as a honest Police man who deserves accolades. He said Sergeant Kabir’s disposition showed that Nigerian Police is not peopled by bad eggs as people are wont to believe. While appreciating him, the Kano Traffic Agency boss presented Sergeant Kabir with a cash award of one hundred thousand naira.

Baffar Agundi charged the people of Kano state to emulate the good qaulities of the refined gentleman and honest Police man.
