Ikale born All Progressives Congress (APC) strongman and former Special Adviser to Ondo State Government on Health, Prof. Dayo Faduyile,OON, has unveiled his political aspiration in a well thought out address to leaders of the ruling APC in Ondo State.
Prof. Faduyile’s address to the leaders , a copy of which was obtained by newsmen showed the resolve of a politician who did not just base his aspiration on whims but deep and consensus seeking consultation. “With the appointment of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim as Ambassador -Designate, a strategic vacancy has emerged for the completion of the Senator’s term in The Senate. Following extensive consultations with the pillars of our great party across Ondo State, I am stepping forward at this defining moment to complete the mandate of Senatorial representation of Ondo South Senatorial District in The Red Chamber,” Prof.Faduyile solemnly indicated with assured conviction.
The past National President, Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, said Ondo South requires a successor who can safeguard the district’s political strength, sustain developmental momentum and serve as a formidable voice in the Red Chamber. “I, Prof Dayo Faduyile, OON, possess the unique blend of grassroots connection and high-level diplomatic experience required to shoulder this important responsibility.
“I am ready to discharge these responsibilities from Day 1,” Prof. Faduyile affirmed.
Exuding confidence about his rich career antecedence and Community development service as an astute academic, Prof. Faduyile noted that beyond his standing as a Professor of Pathology, his tenure as President of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, served as a master class in high stakes negotiation and policy advocacy at the highest level. “During that time, I successfully engaged with the Presidency and National Assembly to influence critical health legislation, proving that I am not just a candidate of ideas but a leader who understands how to navigate the legislative process to secure impactful policies for the greater good of our people,” Prof. Faduyile enthused.
Faduyile maintained that through out his career, he has remained a steadfast loyalist of the party structure, stressing that he is a builder and not a divider. He noted that his investment in the welfare of the youth and the elderly in Ondo South is not a political gesture but a lifelong commitment even as he assured that he understands the local challenges of the people because he lives with them, stressing that he has the national stature to translate the needs of the people to law that will make such needs to have legislative concern , attention and solution.
Drawing Ondo APC leaders’ attention to his glowing competence to pick up the gauntlet from where Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, PhD Cantab, is set to drop it in The Red Chamber, Prof. Faduyile, Pro Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council, Federal University of Education (FUE) Kontagora, said Ondo South at this juncture needs a unifying force. “At this critical juncture, Ondo South needs a unifying force who commands respect across political , traditional and professional lines. I humbly urge you and our esteemed leaders to choose a path of competence, stability , national appeal , legislative effectiveness and continuity.”

Senator, assuring that he will keep up with the time tested theory of ensuring a strong loyalty to the social contract.
