The distinguished chieftaincy title of The Oyi of Idoma Land has been conferred on the President of The Nigerian Medical Association, Dr. Francis Dayo Faduyile in Makurdi, Benue state.
The conferment of the honorary office of Oyi on the NMA point man was done by the Benue state Deputy Governror , His Excellency, Eng. Benson Abounu on behalf of the State Governor and the entire good people of Benue state.
According to the Deputy Governror, by the reason of the chieftaincy title, Dr. Faduyile has become an honorary citizen of Benue state and one of the holders of the highest chieftaincy title in the revered Idoma Land.
While congratulating the Oyi Idoma, the Deputy Governror of Benue state, Eng Abounu noted that the Government of Benue state feel honored with the visit of the NMA to the state, stressing that the state government is not taking lightly the health concern of the people of Benue state.
A dinner was held in honor of the NMA President Dr Dayo Faduyile and national executive of the Medical Association at the Benue state Government Lodge , Makurdi.
In company with Dr Faduyile at the event were Dr. Kenneth Minge Tijo, Vice President 1; Dr Offem Egbe Ennang, Vice President 2; NMA Secretary General, Dr Olumuyiwa Odusote and National Publicity secretary, Dr. Obitade Obimakinde.
Others were Deputy Secretary General, Dr Benjamin Umezurike; National Financial Secretary , Dr Abdulgafar Jimoh and the National Treasurer of the NMA , Dr. Ayuwaja Nagawa.
