Two All Progressives Congress (APC) juggernauts in Ondo South, nay Okitipupa Local Government Area, Princess Oladunni Odu, Chairperson Ondo SUBEB, and Hon. Igbekele Akinrinwa, Executive Chairman, Okitipupa Local Government Council have visited the palace of The Jegun of Idepe Okitipupa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adetoye Michael Obatuga.
The APC stakeholders had a session with ranking palace chiefs and Oba Adetoye Obatuga.

Princess Odu while speaking at the palace noted that Ondo State has come full circle into another round of Governorship election which will be coming up on the 10th October, hence the need for her to bring to the attention of the noble palace chiefs the candidacy of Gov. Akeredolu and his running mate, a proud son of the southern senatorial district, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa. ” Wherever I go these days, my major objective is to advertise a product and my product is brand Aketi. I have the pleasure of introducing this brand to you here today because I believe it is the brand of all the progressive minded people of Ondo South Senatorial district.

” Aketi is a politician that doesn’t mince his words; when he says he will do a thing, rest assured that thing is as good as completed. He has proven wrong the assertion that politicians are liars because rather than skirt around the truth or beautify lies, he will say it as it is. This is what earned him the sobriquet ‘Mr. Talk and do.’

” Regardless of your affiliation or bias, I plead with you, I urge you; I appeal to you for the sake of the development plans coming for Ondo South, let’s vote together once again for Governor Akeredolu,” Princess Odu stressed.

The Executive Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Hon Igbekele Akinrinwa thanked the palace for the support he had enjoyed in the build up to the Local Government poll, adding that the visit afforded him a special opportunity to thank Jegun of Idepe Okitipupa for his royal wishes for his success at the poll. ” Gov. Akeredolu means well for our district hence the need for the cooperation of the palace and our revered chiefs,” the council boss noted.

Reacting , the Arogun of Idepe, and famous Biripo maestro, Chief Omotola Emaye, thanked the APC stalwarts and noted that the visit is timely while the visitors’ objective is well appreciated.

The Jegun of Idepe Okitipupa, HRM Oba Adetoye Michael Obatuga reiterated the fact that Gov. Akeredolu is known for his frankness and he is described as “the talk and do Governor” because he always keeps to his promises. The Royal father pledged the support of the palace for a mutual working relationship with the Chairman of the Council , Hon Akinrinwa towards ensuring the development of the area.
