An All Progressives Congress, APC stalwart from Ondo South, Mr. Olabode Omoyele has described President Bola Tinubu’s visit to Kigali as a step in the right direction to enhance strong ties between Nigeria and Rwanda.

Olabode said fuel subsidy removal had an instant inconvenience as people are used to buying liter of fuel at a rate well subsidized by government, stressing however that in the long run payment for fuel subsidy will bode negatively for Nigerians, so the President should be appreciated for having the political will to end the sabotage dressed in the gab of fuel subsidy.

Olabode averred that the government policies embarked on in President Tinubu’s first term will begin to yield fruit in the second term, hence the need for Nigerians to support the President’s bid for a seamless second term in office.

He said the President’s take that he will do more as pronounced in his interface with the Press in Kigali, Rwanda emphasized the policy thrust of this administration , adding that the gains of subsidy removal has been seen so far in the shared allocation going to the federating states of Nigeria.

Olabode said Nigeria needs a bold and fierce President Tinubu who has the political will power to be firm in policy execution.

“We call on Nigerians to be dispassionate in their evaluation of The Renewed Hope Policies of President Bola Tinubu, who has shown over the years that he is a pan Nigerian Leader.

” We are saying that the President started his first term with economic policies that will salvage the economy that has been tilting towards the brink and we are confident that Nigerians will applaud the gains of these policies as the President will work assiduously to bridge the poverty gap among the masses,” Olabode Omoyele stressed.
