Olabode to Oyebanji: Your Guber victory is a confirmation of your acceptability

All Progressives Congress, APC Chieftain, Mr. Olabode Omoyele has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Abiodun Oyebanji for his victory on the June 20th Governorship election in Ekiti State.

At the Ekiti Guber poll, the incumbent Governor garnered 319,224 votes to emerge as a second term Governor. He beat his rivals Wole Oluyede of PDP who got 40,543 votes and Dare Bejide of ADC who had 12,872 votes. According to INEC, total accredited voters were 389,940 while total valid votes stood at 375,771.

In his congratulatory statement, Olabode noted that Governor Olabanji has just gotten his report card from the people of Ekiti and the grade showed he did not just pass but has passed in flying colours. ” Your election victory is a confirmation of your acceptability in the eyes of the voters of Ekiti and it reinforced the fact that you acquitted yourself well in office as their Governor

“Your Excellency, your victory is a testament to the popularity rating of APC in Ekiti State and a reflection of the resounding victory APC as a party will garner for President Bola Tinubu come January, 2027.

“Our Party is not taking any off cycle election with levity because the morning shows the day and we are very happy that Ekiti people stand with Oyebanji and this automatically mean they are standing formidably with the APC led government of President Bola Tinubu,” Olabode said.

He charged Gov.Abiodun Oyebanji to note that the prize for hard work is more hard work, adding that the people who have given him resounding votes to continue in office for second term are expecting much more from him and a lot of confidence has already being reposed in him.

“The APC family across Southwest and the masses of Ekiti State are very passionate about their expectations that the second term of Gov.Oyebanji will bring more succor to the state,” Olabode reiterated.
