Olubadan Joins ancestors .

The Olubadan of Ibadanland , His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji has journeyed to the land of his ancestors.

Report just reaching thepolity. net says the first class monarch died earlier today at the age of 93.

A source who pleaded anonymity who confided in our reporter said the monarch ‘s death can only be pronounced either by Oyo State Governor or a senior palace Chief , however, the royal father is no longer on this earthly plain.

Oba Saliu Adetunji who was born on the 26th of August 1928 became a successful business man in Ibadan and the entire South West producing record label for Yoruba musicians of the Juju, Highlife and Apala genre of Yoruba music, who made names and huge success under his record label.

He rose through the ranks of the Ibadan Chieftaincy cadre to become the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan land on the 4th of March on , 2017.

His reign hall marked a peaceful era of development and political calmness in Ibadan nay , Oyo State.
