PDF Preaches sacrifice on Eidel Kabir.

– Steve Ovirih.

Prince Prof. Adedayo Faduyile, the convener of the PDF platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has congratulated all Muslim faithfuls for the grace Almighty Allah has bestowed on them to celebrate yet another Eid regardless of the various challenges the nation has experienced in the year 2020, particularly the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). The prince of Abodi and stalwart of APC in Ondo State called on Muslim faithfuls to know that being alive to witness the annual eid festivity is a function of God’s amazing grace and the best means of showing gratitude at this period is to celebrate the festivity by remembering the poor and the underprivileged in the society.

Prof. Faduyile said Eidel Kabir actually calls attention to the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim , a rather painstaking yet genuine sacrifice, stressing that God who sees the genuine intent of human heart
knows how to give back to those who remember the poor and the mass of underprivileged.

The immediate past President, Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) also drew the attention of the faithfuls to the reality of the coronavirus pandemic and called for caution as Muslims go about celebrating Sallah. He said the safety protocols of social distancing should still be adhered to and people should avoid clustering around so that we all can continue to enjoy good health even when the Sallah is over.

Faduyile while congratulating the Muslim congregation in Ondo State, asked them to continue to pray for the success of the Governor Akeredolu led administration in Ondo State as the success of the present administration is expected to be the concern of all the good people of Ondo State. He advised the electorate to continue to show moral support for the progressive government of Akeredolu , maintaining that the Governor has shown in the past three years that a good team is not swapped amidst a competitive match.

” We are gravitating towards another round of election in Ondo State. We have a Governor who has acquitted himself well in office as he rounds off the first leg of his tour of duty. The Constitution says he can run a second term and the great delegates of our party has voted in a free and fair primary , indicating with their majority votes their preference for the Akeredolu administration. All of us , voters, are to make sure that with our thumbs on October 10th, we vote for continuity of the Gov. Akeredolu government,” Dayo Faduyile noted.

He charged politicians across political parties in Ondo State to play the game by the rules and not to heat up the polity during the electioneering campaign, maintaining that we all need a peaceful and tranquil Ondo State that is conducive for commerce and governance after the Governorship poll.
