Prince Dayo Faduyile condoles with Dr. Adegbenro’s family and government of Ondo State..

The news of the death of the Ondo State Commissioner for Health, Dr .Wahab Adegbenro is another sad news that I have received today. His death is a rude shock , numbing and quite depressing.

Dr. Adegbenro’s beat as the Commissioner for Health in Ondo State put him in the forefront of the battle to curb the spread of COVID 19 in the State, a brief he executed wholeheartedly until he breathed his last.

While the entire good people of Ondo State are thrown into mourning mood over his sudden demise, my heart goes out to the immediate members of his family who at this moment are saddened just like the rest of us that their bread winner and our hard working Health Commissioner fell to the cold hand of death when his professional input and counsel is still much needed.

On behalf of the PDF team, I commiserate with the government of Ondo State over this huge and irreparable loss and I ask God to give Dr Wahab Adegbenro’s wife and children the fortitude to bear this painful loss. I also particularly commiserate with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu over the loss of a trusted and trustworthy companion in the administration of our dear Sunshine State.

As a professional colleague, I can say with confidence that Dr. Adegbenro gave his all to fight the coronavirus scourge to a standstill in Ondo State and in this , it is worthy of mention that the amiable gentle man died in the course of wrestling humanity from the grip of the coronavirus.

May Allah grant his soul a peaceful rest, amen.

Prince Dayo Faduyile.
