Princess Oladunni Odu welcomes Ondo State workers to a new working year, calls for commitment, dedication.
All Progressives Congress,APC aspirant for Ondo South by-election Senatorial hopeful, Princess Oldaunni Odu has welcomed the Ondo State workforce to a brand new working year , congratulating them for the opportunity to be alive to start another year of active service.
Princess Odu, who congratulated the Ondo State workforce in a statement made available to the press on Monday, January 5,2026 said the season calls for gratitude as it calls as well for a renewed commitment to quality service delivery.
She noted that understandably the work force started the year with Thanksgiving session, dance and prayers, which is commendable, stressing that beyond that there is need for the workforce to show more loyalty to the state, more commitment and more dedication as the workforce continue to be the backbone of government for competence and quality service delivery.
Princess Odu, who made history as the first female Secretary to The State Government (SSG) in Ondo State assured that the State is on the part of economic growth, noting that Ondo South holds the aces to buoying economic recovery.
Princess Oladunni Odu has indicated interest in vying for the Senate seat of Ondo South Senatorial District presently being occupied by Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, who has been appointed as an Ambassador by President Bola Hammed Tinubu. The 62 career and non career ambassadors appointed by the President , screened and cleared by The Senate are awaiting their Diplomatic Posting.
