Pro Buharist congratulates President Buhari
Zikist Buharist movement , a Southeast based movement in support of President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term bid has congratulated the president over his victory at the Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal.
The Tribunal had last week dismissed all the Petitions of the opposition Party, PDP against the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the February 23rd General election.
In a statement jointly signed by the chairman and secretary of the movement respectively, Godwin Onwusi and Mr Stanley Ohajuruka noted that the movement received with delight the heart warming news that the tribunal in an unanimous judgement threw out all the petition of PDP, noting that the tribunal through its thoroughness invalidated all the incredulous and spurious claims of the opposition party.
The movement expressed surprise that senior counsels who made their services available for PDP could rely on an election server argument in court, which is unknown to the extant 2010 Electoral Act.
The body says it was a national embarrassment that PDP can claim that a graduate of katsina Provincial college, military cadet academy Aldershot, England, United military college, Pennsylvania and a former Head of state does not have certificate, stressing that PDP made a terrible joke of its corporate existence by such baseless allegation.
The body called on President Buhari to utilize the popular mandate given to him by Nigerians to better the lot of Nigerians as people would ordinarily expect much from him in the life span of his second term in office.
The zikist Buharist movement appealed to the President to consider the impassable federal roads in the south east and the second Niger Bridge project as well as the long touted Port -Harcourt – Maiduguri railway project.
