Prof.Faduyile congratulates Muslims on Eid -el Kabir celebration

All Progressives Congress, APC Candidate, Ondo South Senatorial District By-election , Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, has extended warm congratulations to Muslims all over Nigeria, particularly the Ondo South Muslim community on the celebration of the unique festival of sacrifice, ‘Eid al-Adha’ which is being observed globally today, May 27th,2026.
Prof. Faduyile thanked Allah, the most benevolent for making the day a reality for all Muslim faithfuls , noting that ‘Dhul Hijjah’ is a great occasion of celebration which is hinged on celebrating the sacrifice Allah offered for his servant Prophet Ibrahim as a replacement of a ram for his son, showcasing Prophet Ibrahim’s total obedience to Allah’s instruction and eventually Allah’s compensation which made possible ‘the festival of sacrifice – Eid -el Kabir.’
Prof.Faduyile in his congratulatory message to Muslims as obtained by thepolity. net said in the religion of Islam, sacrifice and sacrificial giving is of essence as this is in total obedience to the Hadith which emphasizes giving sacrificially and considering the lot of the underprivileged in the society.
He called on Clerics, Ullamas and leaders of the faith to remember Nigeria specially at the Eid prayers today, noting that while the faithfuls should be grateful to Allah for another year of celebrating Eid -el Kabir, they should also spear time for an in- depth supplication for peace and progress of Nigeria. He charged them to also pray for President Bola Tinubu, Nigerian leader par excellence and father of modern Nigeria, adding that supplications should be geared towards a peaceful 2027 General election and overwhelming victory for President Tinubu’s second term.
The APC stakeholder who emerged on Sunday, 24th May, 2026 as the Candidate of the ruling party for the June 20th by-election in Ondo South Senatorial District also called for prayers of Muslim faithfuls across the district for a hitch free, peaceful and successful by-election.
He thanked the Ondo South Muslim Community for their cooperation and for fostering peaceful communal existence in the district.
Prof. Faduyile prayed Allah to accept the Ibadah and sincere sacrifices of the faithfuls as they celebrate Eid el Kabir. Faduyile however called for caution while pleading that people should always imbibe the idea of being their ‘brothers keeper’ by being vigilant at all times while calling on everyone to be willing to report any strange and suspicious development in their area promptly to The Police.
