Professor of Pathology and Forensic Medicine, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, has expressed his excitement over the announcement of Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR as Nigerian Permanent Representative to The United Nations and Head of Mission to the global Policy body on Peace and Conflict resolution.

 

It will be recalled that The Presidency on Friday announced the posting of all the Ambassador nominees and designate who had already been cleared by The Senate of The Federal Republic of Nigeria.

 

Of the long list of The Ambassadorial nominees, Senator Jimoh Folorunsho Ibrahim from Ondo South made the list from The 10th Senate.

 

Prof. Faduyile, who equally hails from Ondo South, in his congratulatory statement personally endorsed and made available to newsmen, noted that Senator Ibrahim’s two year stint in the Senate was rich with robust legislative discourse and discourse felicity that stood him out as a bold and cerebral Lawmaker of global standard.

 

He noted that not in the recent past and until now has Ondo South been so lucky to have a shaker of the polity as their Senator.

 

The Pro- Chancellor and Chairman of Council of Federal University of Education, Kontagora( FUEK) said he is personally very proud of the achievements of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim as a Senator of The Federal Republic and each time he holds the floor at The Red Chamber , he signals a loud message to the world that Ondo South stands tall in legislative representation.

 

He maintained that appointing Senator Ibrahim as an Ambassador Designate, confirming him at The National Assembly and the Climax of which is his posting to The United Nations is the best news coming from Ondo South at the moment, stressing that he is a proud son of Ikale land whose strides are commendable and enviable.

 

Prof. Faduyile charged The newly appointed Permanent Representative of Nigeria to The United Nations to continue to keep the flag flying, assuring him of the prayers of the good people of Ondo South for more success on his new Ambasadorial tour of duty at the topmost of the international stage of foreign affairs and diplomacy.
