Prof. Dayo Faduyile, a prominent APC chieftain in Ondo State, has expressed shock and profound sadness over the transition of His Royal Highness (HRH) Oba John Ebunola Ayeku, the Obagberume of Igbodigo.

In his message of condolence, Faduyile described the monarch as a leader with great foresight who championed unity and development in Igbodigo and its environs. He highlighted that Oba Ayeku’s reign was synonymous with peace and progress, creating a legacy that will remain indelible in the hearts of the people.

Prince Dayo Faduyile expressed his sympathies to the Royal Family, the entirety of Ikale Obas, and the entire Igbodigo community, encouraging them to uphold the values of harmony and growth that the Kabiyesi represented.

Speaking further, Faduyile, a Professor of Pathology & Forensic Medicine and former President of the Nigerian Medical Association, urged the community to remain resilient in this time of grief and take solace in the lasting contributions of the monarch.

He concluded by praying for the peaceful repose of Oba Ayeku’s soul, asking God to grant his family and the community the strength to navigate this irreplaceable loss.
