Prof. Faduyile says fallen heroes memory remains evergreen.

Former President, Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON has noted that the memory of the fallen heroes and the veterans of war who fought for Nigeria’s unity shall remain evergreen.

Prof. Faduyile gave this indication in his Armed Forces Remembrance Day statement which was made available to newsmen.

In his press release, Prof. Faduyile congratulated the veterans , particularly those who are still alive , having sacrificed their energy during the civil war as well as the other wars across the sub region in their active military days.

The notable All Progressives Congress Chieftain noted that the unity of Nigeria would not have been possible if not for the steadfastness and commitment of the members of The Armed Forces who fought to ensure Nigeria remained an indivisible entity.

Prof. Faduyile called on government to provide necessary support scheme that will be more enduring for the veterans of war who are still alive, adding that a good number of them have become incapacitated due to the challenge they had suffered while in active service defending both the unity and integrity of the nation-state.
