– Steve Ovirih.

The need for synergy among Ondo State All Progressives Congress stakeholders and party members has been emphasized as the Governorship election in the state fast approaches. The members of the party across Ondo State have also been charged to work together towards ensuring the victory of the Akeredolu/Aiyedatiwa ticket of the party in the October 10th, 2020 Guber poll. This was the focal point of discourse at the interactive session between Prof. Adedayo Faduyile, the arrowhead of the PDF team of APC in Ondo State and the Deputy Governorship candidate of APC, Mr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

The immediate past President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Prof. Faduyile who was at the residence of Mr. Aiyedatiwa in Alagbaka , to pay him a congratulatory visit, had a closed door session with the Deputy Governorship candidate of the APC , which party is in government in Ondo State. Prof. Faduyile was accompanied by Hon. Adejare Adeyefa, a PDF team leader and Oke Igbo born APC stalwart.

Emerging from the closed door session, Prof. Dayo Faduyile while speaking with thepolity.net said he has come to congratulate Mr. Aiyedatiwa on his emergence as the running mate of our performing Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, noting that it becomes reassuring that Gov. Akeredolu has looked to the Southern senatorial district of Ondo State to choose his running mate. He further extolled the virtue of the Deputy Governor candidate, as a loyal party man, an embodiment of patience, humility and love ; a focused and dedicated man and an asset to the APC in Southern Senatorial district.

Faduyile told the press that the discussion between he and Gov. Akeredolu’s running mate was about how to ensure a strong support base for the second term ambition of Gov. Akeredolu in the Southern senatorial district and how to make the people of the South of Ondo State key into the APC Guber drive as well as how all the stakeholders from the Southern senatorial district , nay Ondo State will collectively deliver the overwhelming votes for the APC in the October poll.

Reacting, Mr. Aiyedatiwa who described Prof. Faduyile as a notable APC figure, a grassroot politician and a proud representative of Ondo State in the national circle , thanked him and Hon Adeyefa for the visit , stressing that they have had a robust session and they will continue to consolidate on the progressive agenda of APC which is primed on bringing good life for our people.
