The remains of Late pastor Mrs Mayomi Mercy Awotula, the lone victim of the fatal auto crash at the Maryland Junction, which occured on the 1st of October 2022 has been laid to rest.

The unfortunate incident had caused pains in the heart of the admirers of the accident victim who was known to many either as an active and enterprising sanitarian of repute or a deeply committed minister at the RCCG, Okitipupa.

The cleric encouraged the family of the deceased to trust God who knows all things and whom all things are clearer to better than we humans.

The remains of Sanitarian Mercy Mayomi Awotula, who until her demise was a Director at Ilaje Local Govt council, was interred at the Awotulas’ residence behind Maryland Hotel, Okitipupa as well wishers and her health worker colleagues showed in their countenance, the pains of the loss of an expert environmental sanitation officer and a Senior health officer in the employ of Ondo State Government.

Among the dignitaries at the burial were Group captain Kunlere , ( RTD), Pastor Segun Ayerin, professor Dayo Faduyile, OON, Hon Goke Jatuase, Chairman , Ilaje Local Govt, Mrs Olufunmi and others.
