Senatorial ticket hopeful, Mathew Oyerinmade (MATO) promises adequate representation as he tours Ondo South.

Mr. Mathew Oyerinmade , popularly called MATO by his admirers , has once again visited All Progressives Congress ( APC) faithful both at Okitipupa , Irele and Ilaje Local Government areas of Ondo South Senatorial District.

Oyerinmade has declared his ambition to represent the people of Ondo Southern Senatorial District in the Senate and over the months , he has been working assiduously to make this ambition a fruition.

It is on record that the meeting he held with Councillors of Okitipupa Legislative Arm at Paragon Hotel would be the second parley he would have with them in quick succession.

Aside this , he had conferred with members and leaders of All Progessives Congress (APC) , Okitipupa at Omowa Club where he appealed to the leaders to support his lofty ambition to emerge as the APC candidate for the senatorial election.

In the course of conferring with Okitipupa APC leaders, he assured them that he has convened a high powered delegation of experts who are to go round the Senatorial District to find out the most basic need and demands of the people as he noted that what the people need vary from one community to another. In his reaction at the meeting, the party Chairman of APC in the Local Government, Hon . Bode Ikulala saluted the unalloyed commitment of Mr. Oyerinmade to the growth of APC in the district. He said the Senatorial hopeful single handedly provided Administrative logistics to all the APC secretariats across Ondo South Senatorial District and has continued to sustain the holding of regular party meetings from the wards to the local government, adding that all of these good gestures by the contestant do not go unnoticed as they are good turns from one strong party loyalists that deserve the party faithful give him all the supports he would need at the appropriate time.

In his speech while holding a parley with the Okitipupa Local Government Legislators, Oyerinmade called on them to give him their support as the support of the Lawmakers is a confirmation of victory for any APC Senatorial candidate , noting that the Councillors are the direct representatives of the good people in the grassroots.

Oyerinmade also congratulated the Lawmakers for the peace they have sustained so far in their respective wards and the Council , stressing that he is convinced APC will claim the southern Senatorial seat in the General election of 2023.

Hon. Kunke Ikuedowo in his reaction appreciated the forthrightness of Mr. Oyerinmade , whom he described as the in coming senator, for reaching out to party leaders, members of the party and stakeholders of APC across the communities that make up the Southern Senatorial District. He pledged the support of his Legislator colleagues for the emergence of Oyerinmade and for his eventual victory at the polls.

Other places visited were Igbokoda, the headquarters of Ilaje Local Government and Irele Local Government Council. In each of the places visited , Mr. Oyerinmade was warmly welcomed as the APC faithful acknowledged his giant contribution to the development of the party at the grassroots.

Mr. Oyerinmade while speaking with Thepolity . net noted that the tour has been successful , appreciating the massive support he received in all the communities visited. He noted emphatically that Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has promised a level playing field for all the candidates and with this reassurance , he is confident if victory at the forthcoming APC primaries for the Senate seat.
