Your Victory is a deserving one, Regent of Ayeka tells Gov. Akeredolu.

– Steve Ovirih.

The Regent of Ayeka kingdom, Princess Barr. Oluyemi Bajowa has expressed her hearty wishes and congratulated Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on his success at the Supreme Court over the Ondo State Gubernatorial petition which was resolved in his favor by the Justice Mary Odilil led panel yesterday, the 28th July, 2021.

Princes Bajowa while expressing her reaction to the Supreme Court ruling in an exclusive chat with thepolity.net said Gov. Akeredolu no doubt won the October 2020 Guber poll fair and square , noting that the process through which the petition had run its full course is good as it will strengthen the Democratic process while at the same time, it will imbue the APC led government with the needed constitutionalism.

” I want to congratulate Gov. Akeredolu particularly at this auspicious time that the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court has affirmed his victory at the Governorship election which held in Ondo State last year. While one would have thought that the petitioner really needed not to have gone that far because it was glaring Gov Akeredolu won the poll, the petitioner has eventually through the court processes helped to allow the imprint of the Constitution on the solid victory of the Ondo State Governor at the poll,” Regent Oluyemi Bajowa noted.

The Ayeka Regent however charged the Governor to be magnanimous in victory by extending a hand of fellowship to all in the state. She said while those in the opposition party has expressed their rights of petition and appeals, they should be diplomatic enough to allow the will of governance to run smoothly in Ondo State by supporting Government policies, principles and ideology.

” Gov. Akeredolu means well for Ondo State and now that there is no politics of justling for offices for now, politicians should put politics aside and add their voice to how Ondo State can grow in all ramifications,” Her Royal Highness, Princess Barr. Oluyemi Bajowa added.

The Regent noted that Gov. Akeredolu will now have adequate time to execute his political mandate and ” Redeemed agenda” of his administration which specifically include the Sea Port project in Ondo South Senatorial District, an economic blue print that will cause a major turn around in the Southern Senatorial District of Ondo State.
